Setup guide
Switching to OfficePilot.
An afternoon, not a migration project. Five steps, and the only file you truly need is your customer list.
- 1Export your customersEvery system can give you a CSV of your customer list: names, phones, emails, addresses. Get that file first — it is the one thing you cannot rebuild by hand.
- 2Import them hereContacts → Import, then pick where the file came from. QuickBooks Online and Google Contacts exports match automatically; any other CSV matches by column name and you confirm the mapping before anything is saved. Duplicates by email or phone are skipped, not doubled. Big lists go in automatically in parts.
- 3Keep your numberNothing to move. Forward the calls you miss to your OfficePilot number, or put the OfficePilot number on your ads and have it ring you first.
- 4Bring the open invoicesInvoices → Import takes an invoices file and a line-items file. Paid history can stay where it is; most owners bring only what is still owed, so reminders and Pay Now links start working on it.
- 5Let the AI read your businessYour services and typical prices are already loaded for your industry. Review them once under Settings → AI & Communication, and try the preview before it talks to a customer.

Export your client list to CSV and import it the same way; the columns match by name and you confirm them before anything is saved. If a file will not map cleanly, send it to us and we will map it for you.
